Max devoted many years ( and enhanced many memories) in the management of the Hillcrest Inn in Lima, with music, clambakes, and horseshoes.
Max and Terrie spent their time together exploring this beautiful country; first in a small truck camper, and then in a number of 5th wheels that were always bigger than the last. They shared a love of the outdoors and the excitement of new adventures, new experiences, and many new friends.
Max was a lifelong member of the American Legion. A creative, master-tinkerer who could fix anything and loved his animals. His life was enriched by special pet companions over the years; Charlie, Babe, Suzy and Mandi. Max enjoyed euchre, snowmobiling, motorcycles, bowling, and Never passed up a Happy Hour. (often accompanied by his partner in crime, Ray).
