Conesus-Livonia: August 28, 2016 at age 82 years at the Steuben Center for Rehabilitation and Health Care where he had been a patient since January. Survived by his sister, Mary P. Iten of Geneseo; 2 cousins in Switzerland and many dear friends.

Leo was born January 17, 1934 in Cug, Switzerland the son of Joseph and Pauline Iten. He served in the United States Army from 1955 -1957. He was employed by the former ITEK Company in Rochester as a welder before his retirement. He was also employed by Kemp’s bus service in Livonia and several surrounding districts including Avon and Honeoye Falls. Leo was a member of St. Matthew Church, and the former St. Joseph’s Church in Livonia. He also had a very strong relationship with the former St. Williams Church and also the Society of the Divine Word Mission in Conesus.

Donna LeBriton – August 27, 2016

Livonia: Peacefully at home on August 27, 2016, at age 73 years, surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Richard LeBriton in 2002 and her brother Rick Steinmetz. Survived by children; Joy LeBriton of Avon, Jill (Joaquin) Quintana of Livonia, and Jane (Daniel) Petrilli of Greece; grandchildren, Darien, Raymond, Richard, Tabitha, Hylyn, Mario, Teaghan, Helio, Paolo, Shawn, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Azlyn, Nathan, Jay, Lincoln, and Alan. Also survived by sisters; Elizabeth, Vicky, and Wendy. Nieces & nephews.

Donna was born on October 7, 1942 in Rochester, NY to parents Carl and Shirley (Jones) Steinmetz. She married Richard LeBriton and they raised their family in Henrietta before moving to Livonia. She worked at the Lakeville McDonald’s for many years. She liked to knit and make jewelry and had many hobbies that kept her busy. She loved to play video games, especially Call of Duty Ghost, and spending time at home with her family.

Mt. Morris: John Aiden Coultry, passed in peace Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the age of 83. Predeceased by his parents J. Aiden Coultry and Gertrude Reilly Coultry, and beloved Aunt Gretchen Coultry. John is survived by his spouse JoAnn Gullo Coultry. John was a proud, loving Father and “Papa”. He is survived by his children, Tracy McCaughey of Geneseo, NY, Lisa (Martin) Smith of Webster, NY, Jack (Tracey) Coultry of Webster, NY. He was an adored “Papa” to his seven grandchildren Michael, Sean and Colin McCaughey of Geneseo, NY, Kendall and Ainsley Smith of Webster, NY and Oliver and Finnley Coultry of Webster, NY.

John was a Korean War Veteran and lifelong resident of Mt. Morris. He enjoyed golf, baseball, and spending time with his family and friends.

Henrietta/Cape Coral, FL: Katherine A. “Kay” Palser Michel, of Cape Coral, FL, formerly of Henrietta, died on August 13, 2016. She was born in Rochester, NY.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John Michel, as well as her grandson, Jeff Michel. She is survived by son, Peter Michel and (Linda) of Murphy, NC (formerly of Conesus, NY); daughter Mary Jo Michel of Cape Coral, FL; and Paula (Randy) Marks of Colorado Springs, CO; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; sister in law, Mary Mandel; and companion, Peter L. Bobby was born on November 24, 1964 in Germany to parents Ronald and Margaret (Howell) Conwell. While living in Florida he was plasterer with Pederson Lathing & Plastering in Port St. Lucie. He loved to write songs, sing and play the guitar.

Bob attended SUNY Geneseo and Rochester Institute of Technology. He had a varied employment career including Eastman Kodak, purchasing agent at Stone Construction and design engineer at Ledco, Inc. He was a US Marine Corp. Veteran, a member of the Richmond Ethics Board, and the Honeoye-Hemlock American Legion Post 1278. Bob was an awesome mechanic (go karts), wood worker, and handyman. He was a reader of books, aficionado of cars and guns. An outdoorsman. A semi-professional dog walker. A sage of Canadice Lake Trail. Bob was smart, funny and loving in his way.

Geneseo/Ocala, FL: Peacefully on August 3, 2016, at age 81 years, surrounded by family. Predeceased by her beloved mother Helen (Odell) Wright, her father Harold Wright, and her brother Jimmy Wright. Survived by children; Richard Baker of Dansville and Kim (Jim) Peterson of Livonia; grandchildren, Erin (Peter) Landry, Shannon Peterson, and great-granddaughter Saoirse Marie Landry; siblings, Charles (Eileen) Wright, Doug (Linda) Wright, Ruth (John) Malone, and Steven Wright. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bonnie was born on July 1, 1935 in Springwater, NY to parents Harold and Helen Wright. She left Springwater at the young age of 17 to pursue a career in Rochester as a secretary until she married and had children. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many years, where she was very active in many different capacities. She also had the gift of decorating and was an avid reader.

Eugene A. Cummings ~ June 21, 2016

Eugene A. Cummings, 87 years, of Brandon, Florida, formerly of Hemlock, NY, died June 21, 2016 at his home. He was born in Rochester, NY, June 24, 1928 the son of Benjamin and Mary Reynolds Cummings.

Gene also was a graduate of Hemlock School and belonged to the NY State Horsemans Association. He served his country in the US Army from 1954 – 1956. He retired from Pinco in Lima, and was actively involved with harness racing with the Cummings Stables.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Thelma Shuster of Florida.
