William “Bill” Charles Frost ~ October 7, 2021

Honeoye: At age 87, Bill passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at FF Thompson hospital in Canandaigua. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late John and Verna Frost. Bill is predeceased by his wife Joy Frost. Robin L. Wallace – October 5, 2021

Buffalo/Livonia:  At age 62, Robin passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2021.  She was born on April 17, 1959 in Rochester, NY to parents William H. and Elizabeth (Smith) Wallace.  She was predeceased by her father William H. Wallace and her grandparents Robert & Leona Irwin and Harold & Alberta Wallace.  Robin is survived by her mother Elizabeth “Beth” Wallace of Geneseo, sister Lynne Wallace-Lee of Buffalo, and her long-time friend and companion Saada Counts of Buffalo.  Robin is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Robin was a graduate of Livonia High School and attended Rochester Institute of Technology, receiving her technical writing certification.  Later, she became a freelance writer after earning her B.A. in Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.   She went on to write many online articles and edited works by foreign writers that had been translated into English.

Robin had a varied and interesting list of hobbies and passions.  She loved music, animals, and studied and spoke fluent Spanish.  For over a decade, she was a volunteer reader and board op for the Niagara Frontier Radio Reading Service for the blind. She was a long-time member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA), a medieval history reenactment society. Robin also was a devoted fan of all things Star Trek, which included attending multiple fan conventions over the years.  She also enjoyed researching her family’s genealogy on Ancestry.com, and being of Scottish ancestry, travelled to Scotland and attended lots of Scottish and Celtic festivals.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11am on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Central Presbyterian Church, 31 Center Street, Geneseo, NY.  There will be a time of fellowship and refreshments after the service.  Following, at 2pm, inurnment will take place at Mt. Pastor Michael J. Morrissey ~ October 4, 2021

Livonia, NY:  At age 81, Mike passed peacefully on October 4, 2021 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.  He was born on July 25, 1940 in Hornell to the late Edward and Alice (West) Morrissey.  Survived by his wife of 61 years, Kathleen “Kay” (Karley) Morrissey and children; Timothy (Noreen) Morrissey, John (Gail) Morrissey, and Debra (Paul) Frost; grandchildren, Nora, James, Andrew, Kristi, Karen, Mark, Amy, David, Shari, Matthew, Julie, Jacob, and Joshua; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Roland (Dee) Morrissey; several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Mike was gloriously saved by his Savior, Jesus Christ, in 1966. This single event changed the whole direction of his life.  His life now belonged to Jesus and he lived every day to serve his Savior. A short time later he was called into the ministry as a missionary with New Tribes Mission in the jungles of Brazil until 1987.

Mike moved his family back to Honeoye, NY in 1985 where he was called to pastor his home church, Faith Bible Church, until 1992.  He then started New Hope Fellowship Church where he has led his congregation faithfully until his passing.  The countless number of lives he touched with his concern, mixed with humor,  is astounding.   He did this trusting God alone to use it for his glory.

No prior calling hours will be held.  A Memorial Service to Celebrate Mike’s Life will be held at 5pm on Friday, October 8 th , at the Kevin W. Paul J. Guadagna ~ October 3, 2021

Buffalo: At age 88, Paul passed away on Sunday, October, 3, 2021 at Elm Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Canandaigua. He was born in Buffalo, NY to the late Salvatore and Marghalena Guadagna. Paul is predeceased by his wife, Helen M. Guadagna and by his brothers; Anthony (Gloria) Guadagna and Salvatore Guadagna. Survived by his son Paul A. (Karen) Guadagna, and his grandson; Paul M. (Roxanne) Guadagna, along with his two great grandchildren; Paul F. Guadagna and Carissa Guadagna.

Norma M. Robeson (Scouten) – October 3, 2021

Henrietta:  At age 88, Norma passed on October 3, 2021.  She was born on February 7, 1933 in Rochester, NY to the late William and Jenny Scouten.  In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband George A. Robeson and siblings; William, Dorothy, and Corrine.  Survived by her children;  Roby Robeson (Barbara Nichelson) of Conesus and Linda (Richard) Young of Conesus; granddaughters, Carrie Herring and Tina (Justin) Jubert; and several great-grandchildren; Collin, Lexi, Kaila, Owen, and Aiden.

Carole J. Germuga ~ October 2, 2021

Honeoye: At age 79, Carole passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the MM Ewing Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua, NY. She was born in Rochester, NY to the late Ronald and Cora Wyatt. Carole is predeceased by her husband; Lawrence R. Germuga. Survived by her son; Ronald (Wylliam) Germuga Goodman and by her brothers; Thomas and David Wyatt.

David K. Johnson ~ October 1, 2021

Geneseo: At age 60, David passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home in Geneseo on Friday, October 1, 2021. He was born in Virginia, Minnesota to Wallace and Arlene Johnson where he graduated from Biwabik High School. David received his B.S. in Chemistry from Hamline University and then obtained his Ph.D. in organic chemistry at Montana State University.  He spent 30 years teaching and mentoring hundreds of students as an organic chemistry professor at SUNY~Geneseo. He loved developing long-lasting relationships with many of his students over the years.

David enjoyed many things in life.  He grew up in Northern Minnesota where he spent most of his time outdoors. This continued into early adulthood in Montana where he developed interests in hiking, skiing, and cycling.  As an adult, he continued to value spending time in nature, especially in Stonybrook and Letchworth State Parks.  He also enjoyed his tennis club in Geneseo, spending many hours on the courts each week.  His greatest passion, however, was his family.  He was actively involved in his childrens’ lives; nothing brought more joy to David than their successes and accomplishments.

Survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Andrea Johnson, his children – Samuel and Lydia Johnson, his parents – Wallace and Arlene Johnson, his sister – Judith Stecker, his nieces and nephews – Jenny Cross, Jeremy Stecker, Tanya Rabideaux, Lindsay Northcutt, his mother and father-in-law – Marvin and Glenda Northcutt, along with his brother and sister-in-law – Marv and Jen Northcutt. He was predeceased by his brother, Doug Johnson.
