Frances “Fran” E. Dolan ~ November 23, 2021

Mount Morris/Livonia, NY: At age 87, Fran passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. She was born in Farmington, NY, to the late James and Gertrude Ellis and was predeceased by her four older brothers.

Survived by her children; Scott (Debra) Uhl, of Victor, Wendy (Lou) Long of Livonia, Wanda Uhl (Michael Kimbel) of Arkport and Mary (Tom) Deuel of Mount Morris; her grandchildren; Jennifer Long, Louis (Megan) Long, Sasha (Anthony) Cirincione, Brittany Uhl, Brianna Uhl, Marcus Uhl, Serena Uhl, Owen Deuel, Liam Deuel, and her 7 great grandchildren; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

Fran worked for Rochester Products for 30 years before retiring. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling across the country in her motorhome. She was a member of the L.O.W’s and Escapees traveling groups making many new friends along the way.

Fran loved to make people laugh and could often be found dressed up in different hats, outfits and goofy costumes to bring smiles to others. Fran was a music enthusiast and loved to sing. She would attend bluegrass jamborees and was a member of the Glee Club.

Friends and family are invited to call from 4-6PM on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, where Fran’s memorial service will immediately follow at 6PM.   1. RIP Aunt Frances. You were a gem in our family. I will never forget your smile and laugh and like many of us know, you loved to dress in costume and wanted to make others laugh and have a good time. You did just that! I remember you coming to our house in your camper and showing us some of the pictures of the events you attended in costume, which I could tell you were so proud of, and hats that you loved to wear. You were very special to us all. Love you forever.

  2. Have many beautiful memories of Fran coming to all of our Festivals .at Harpers Hide Away in Fla. .She was never afraid to come in some costume…always putting a smile on everyone’s face.. she was a special lady and will remembered by so many, Prayers are with you and the family.
