Pittsford: At age 54, Bryan passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at his home in Pittsford. He was born in Canandaigua, NY and worked for over 20 years for New York State in Taxation and Finance. Bryan is predeceased by his father; Bryan D. Hildreth Sr. Survived by his beloved husband of 9 years; Brian L. Caldwell of Pittsford, his mother; Helen Hildreth, his three sons; Noah, Nicholas and Nathan Caldwell-Hildreth and his siblings; Jeremy (Rachel) Hildreth and Amber (Christopher) Maginn, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.  Bryan’s family was very important to him and he will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 10AM to 12 Noon at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, where Bryan’s funeral service will take place immediately following calling hours. Interment will follow Bryan’s funeral service at St. Michael’s Cemetery on Shelly Road in Livonia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, Northeast Region, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110. Brian,i am so sorry for your loss.i was so shocked on hearing of Bryans passing.i found out Wednesday after trying to contact him on that morning.i retired from tax and finance in November,2003 and had kept in contact with Bryan throughout the years since.i will truly miss our wonderful conversations.he was a great friend.i send prayers to the family.

  13. So sorry to hear of Bryan’s passing. I have been retired for over 22 yrs from the Tax Dept and didn’t know Brian but I’m sure he was a great guy and the Dept was a great place to work. I will keep him in my prayers.

Countless trips from Toronto to Rochester to hang out in his space and meet all his wonderful friends. Losing him so unexpectedly is heartbreaking beyond words.
