Avon: At age 74, Donna passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Highland Hospital on Rochester, NY. She was born in Penfield, NY to the late Norman and Theresa James. Donna is predeceased by her brothers Dean James, and Ralph Merriam.  Survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Doug I. Hogle, her children; Marshall D. Hogle and Tanya L. Hogle, her siblings; Norman (Joanne) James, Beverly (Dave) Nichols, Russell James, Tom (Kim) James, her sisters-in-law, Brenda James and Janette Merriam, and her grandchildren; Remington Hogle, Jacob Mannix, Bianca Mannix, Haylie Ippolito and Wyatt Ippolito, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, March 29, 2021 from 3PM to 6PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, NY.     I’m so sorry to hear about Donna’s passing. Such a sweet, caring person. It was a pleasure to know her. She was an angel to my Mother during her stay at the Nursing home in 2019. May she rest in peace.Sincerest Condolences,

  5. Very sorry for your loss. I worked for Donna in the Avon Cafeteria and she was a nice lady. She was a God Send when she was temporarily at Avon Nursing Home in 2019 and was so kind and supporting to my Mother who had Dementia and passed. May your memories, friends and family ease your pain at this terrible time.
