  1. I never had Mr. Pat for a teacher but was very aware of his presence…especially in the hallway. He was a protector to Miss Mooney when she lost control of the classroom situation. His handsomeness made most teenage girls hearts throb and when he married you could almost hear a sigh of disappointment go through the halls. Mr. Pat understood that respect was earned and not just given because of who you were. This was just one of many lessons he taught in, and out, of the classroom. May each of you find personal peace as you bid farewell.

  2. Our condolences to the family of Mr. Pat. Our condolences to my Aunt Angie and her family .. My husband Chet bowled with Mr. Pat at the Infamous Palace in Geneseo many years ago.we would see him at different family gatherings years.ago. He was a great guy.

  3. Our condolences to all the family and my Aunt Angie and her family. Mr. Pat was a great guy, many years back Chet used to bowl at the famous Palace in Geneseo with him and Mr. Griffo.so long ago. Such a card.

  4. My sincere condolences to Mr. Patanella’s whole family. I pray for the gentleness of comfort, for your entire family during this time of loss. Our communities have also lost a true treasure. My concurrence with many of the statements already shared, by those who shared before me. Little did I know, just how much of an impact his personal integrity and teachings would play in my own life, as I reached into my adulthood. Those mutant years of muddling through “not a child any more, yet not an adult”, seemed endless in the process, but through it all, the life and academic lessons played its part throughout my adult life and on to my children, grandchildren and 3 little great grandchildren.

    Thank You !!!! “Mr. Patanella”

  5. Charlie was known as a great teacher and when we left school, a friend. He had morals and principals which he passed on to students. Something sadly needed today. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

  6. My condolences to the family. He was an amazing man who touched so many lives. He will fly high with the angel’s.

  7. My sincere condolences to the Patanella Family. ” Mr. Pat” had a major impact on many students at LCS. He taught us discipline in the classroom, respect for your teachers, knowledge of New York State Government, Penmanship, Yorkers, and understanding political awareness of past and present issues! God Bless You Mr. Pat!

  8. I remember Mr. Patanella as a very nice teacher. Whenever anyone sneezed, he asked who did that, then blessed you. Could not have had a better person be a teacher.
