Arlene L. Grouse (Englert) – July 15, 2017

Livonia: Peacefully on July 15, 2017 at age 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Fred Grouse, her son Randy Grouse, and siblings; Pete and Mert Englert. Survived by children; Alan (Joanne) Grouse of NC, Linda (Jon) Brandes of Geneseo, and Doug (Angela) Grouse of Livonia; grandchildren, Greg (Jill) Grouse, Amy (Chris) Connell, Paulette Brandes (Jamie O’Keefe), Kaitlin Grouse (Matthew Bullen), Kevin Grouse, Katie (Korey) Larson & Samantha Herzich, and 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Harold “Louie” Englert of FL; sisters-in-law, Virginia (Ivan) Mastin and Dorothy (Pete) Englert both of Springwater.

Arlene’s greatest joy was being hearth and home to her friends and family. She loved playing cards, quilting, sewing, cooking, baking, and spoiling the grandchildren. She is loved by all. Her family is grateful to the staff of Avon Nursing Home for their wonderful care.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Arlene’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 29th, at 11am at the United Methodist Church of Livonia, 22 Summers Street, Livonia, NY. Private burial Evergreen Cemetery, Springwater, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in Arlene’s Memory to Harrison-Lee American Legion Post #283/Ladies Auxiliary, PO Box 214, Livonia, NY 14487.   3. We have lost another favorite family member. Aunt Arlene was special in so many ways. She and I shared a lot of laughs over the years and memories too. I know she is with my Mom and they are misbehaving up there in heaven.
