Henrietta: Neil E. Gates, died August 27, 2014 at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester at age 80 years. Survived by his wife, Vivian. Children, Dawn Moore & Rebecca Gross both of Avon, Bruce Gates of Henrietta, Kathleen (Joseph) Walrath of Rochester, Nancy (Michael) Gallo of Rochester, and Thomas (Sheri) Gates of Virginia. 17 grandchildren. 1 great grandchild. Siblings, Reid Gates of Rochester, Gail Francati of FL., Glen (Cheryl) Gates of FL, Ross (Gail) Gates of Spencerport, Paul Gates of Rochester. His mother-in-law, Mary Heinsler of Rochester. Nieces & nephews.

Neil was born in Rochester, NY, September 23, 1933 the son of Leslie F. Gates and Catherine A. Smith. He was a veteran of the US Army and a self employed painting contractor in the Rochester area.
