HONEOYE — Jeanne Wright Angelo (Kilian) passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014, at home, with her family by her side, at the age of 73. Jeanne fought a valiant battle against cancer. Jeanne was predeceased by many loved ones, including her sisters, June O’Dell, Janice Wright and Joyce Coykendall; and brothers-in-law Thomas Angelo and H. W. O’Dell. Jeanne is survived and cherished by her husband of nearly 45 years, Ralph F. Angelo Jr., Richmond town supervisor; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Fritz Kilian of Webster and their four daughters,Tessa, Teagan, Telaney and Tallyn; son and daughter-in-law, Ralph K. and Megan Angelo of Honeoye Falls and their four children, Dilan, Drew, Luke and Shaye; brother, Verne Wright of Mobile, Ala.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack Coykendall, Frances (Wally) VanDeBogart, Rachel (Vic) Thayer, Annie (Donald) Schunk, William Angelo, Ricardo Angelo, Jake Angelo and Kathi Czebatol; many nieces and nephews, including Kelly Bailey who provided tender care in her final days and hours; and many special friends, including her partner in crime and longtime friend, Bonnie Sykes.
Jeanne was born in Bristol and was the daughter of the late Fred and Myrtle (Morrill) Wright and raised by Keith and Dahlia Pierce. She moved to Lima with her aunt and uncle when she lost her mother at the age of three. She graduated from Lima High School in 1959, then Grove City College in 1963. She taught math in Angola, Bloomfield and most of her career in Honeoye. She was a well-loved math teacher, class advisor and bowling coach. She was a president of Womens Republican Club of Richmond and Canadice. She also was a town clerk, town council woman and water district and fire district secretary in Honeoye. Her ultimate joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She was the kindest, most generous, selfless person you could meet and she will be greatly missed. Jeanne’s family would like to thank Dr. Dirk Bernold of Interlakes Oncology and Hematology for his tireless effort and care.
Calling hours will be held today (Wednesday, June 25) from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow (Thursday, June 26) from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main St., Route 20A, Honeoye. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 27, at 10 a.m.at St. Marys Church, Route 20A, Honeoye. Ralph, Lorie(and family),Ralphie(and family). We are so sorry to here about Jean. We wish we could be there with all of the family. I(Doreen) have fond memories of her at Aunt Tessie’s house.
