Livonia: Warren L. Clapp, 71 years of Decker Road, Livonia died suddenly March 22, 2011 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. He was born in Brighton, NY April 30, 1939 the son of Morley and Marion Heffernan Clapp. He was a graduate of Rush-Henrietta Central School and served his country in the United States Marine Corps. from 1958 thru 1962. He was employed for many years at Rochester Gas & Electric from where he retired in 1993. He also owned and operated his own tree surgeon company. He was a member of the American Legion.

Survived by his wife, Kathleen (Kathy); children, Mark (Erin) Clapp of Acworth, GA. & Andrea M. Clapp (Troy Phillips) of Conesus. Grandchildren, Misty Elizabeth Nardone, Katelyn Elizabeth Clapp,Andrew James Clapp & Daniel Ryan Clapp. brothers, Morley (Diane) Clapp of San Diego, CA., Gary (Barbara) Clapp of Victor, & Ralph (Debbie) Clapp of Lima. sisters, Marilyn (John) Mapes of Rush, Sharon (Ron) Eichele of Rush. Several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and brother Wayne Clapp.

Friends may call Saturday 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc,. Routes 15 & 20A, 21 Big Tree St. Livonia where services will be held Sunday at 1 PM with Rev. John H. Hayes officiating. Burial, Oak Ridge Cemetery, S. Livonia with full military honors.
