Bristol: At age 62, Paula passed away on November 7, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born March 15, 1961 she is survived by her parents, Paul (Joanne) Burnett and Bonnie (Fuller, Burnett) Cooper, her husband; Melvin, son; Henry (Jessica Herendeen) Dorn, brothers; Allen (Mary) Burnett, John (Michele) Burnett, Paul (Peggy Bavis) Burnett, Mark (Michelle Ramos) Burnett, Derek (Bernadette Murphy) Burnett, sisters; Virginia (Alex) Hollon, Jessica Burnett, granddaughter; Aaliyah Dorn and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles whom she also loved dearly.

Paula went through many tragedies of life that would have crushed many people from the start of life with one being the only girl between four brothers. She became a beautiful strong and independent woman who had a huge love of life and believed to live it “full throttle” and with her heart first. She absolutely loved her friends and family and strived to be the perfect host and friend. She truly loved working with everyone and always worked hard as an employee at her jobs at the Canandaigua VA, as an office manager for Gullo machine and as a title clerk for Ballantyne RV. She loved her Lord, and was a parishioner of the Baptist Hill Church where she also served as the treasurer for a period of time.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023, 10:30 AM, at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte. 20A, Honeoye, NY. There will be a celebration of life after the service at The Valley Inn on 20A in Honeoye, NY.

  2. Well lil Sister you now have those wings you always wanted and I’m sure you’re feeling a Love like you never felt before. You were the glue that held 4 Brothers together all thru this journey on this Earth, but now it’s all about YOU Paula Jean and I know you are home at last. I don’t think you ever knew just how special you were and how many people loved you for just being Paula and all the smiles you put on people’s faces and joy in their hearts and now you are gone from this realm and wrapped in the arms of our Lord. I know you did the best you could throughout your journey, and I know you knew my heart and I knew yours and I’m so grateful we shared as much as we did from our inception to the cabin trips and our lifetime of Holidays to the years, I was there with you thru out your roughest years battling Leukemia and all our conversations about all of it.FLY HIGH Lil Sister……You did the best YOU knew how. I LOVE YOU Paula/Susie………Angel God Bless You and I will miss you immensely until we meet again. You were loved on this Earth…….Gods speed lilone!
