Roger S. Clapp ~ October 30, 2023

Clifton Springs: At age 69, Roger passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023. He was born on January 12, 1954 to the late George and Jackie Clapp. Survived by his daughters, Jennifer Clapp and Ashley Clapp. Sisters; Roberta Bruculere and Marie Clapp, grandchildren; Elizabeth and Carl Petrillo. Roger was predeceased by his wife; Barbara, granddaughter; Emmaleigh Petrillo, brother David Bailey and brother-in-law Scott Bruculere.

Everyone who got the pleasure of meeting Roger would say his sense of humor and sarcasm is what made him so endearing. Every time Roger left the house, he made it his mission to meet someone new, he couldn’t go out to dinner without meeting someone he had some sort of connection to. He retired from Leonard’s Express Trucking after working for them for nearly 20 years.  He met people from all over the country and maintained those relationships throughout his retirement. Throughout his life he had many passions including golfing, bowling, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and cooking.

  1. Roger, I know you are up above watching over us. We knew each other for over 50 years. Only distance kept us apart. You were a cool dude your entire short life! I’ll never forget playing baseball at the Cranes ball fields. God speed Rog, you will certainly be missed. RIPBuddy.

Roger was a great guy I went to school with him and no I’m outside of school for a while and then haven’t seen him in years then I started seeing him a few years back and we talked a little and end up going out for dinner he will be missed I now live in Florida and I would be the first one to be it is celebration if I could I will miss you Roger!!
