Livonia: At age 85, Mick passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was born in Rochester, NY to the late John and Marion Perdue. Mick is predeceased by his brothers; John and Edward Perdue and daughter Janice Huff. Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years; Marlene H. Milne, his son; James (Allyson) Perdue, his sisters; Ann (James) Oblein, Eleanor Bennett, his grandchildren; Tara (Adam) Denker, Jordan Perdue, Sara Perdue, his great grandson, Danny Denker, his sisters-in-law, Elaine Driscoll and Diane Harrison and by his beloved cat, Jake, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Mick graduated from Rush Henrietta High School and went on to serve his country from 1960-62 in the US Army. After being discharged from the military, Mick found his passion in meat cutting. He retired from Tops Market as a union meat cutter until 2004. Mick was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed raising and riding horses throughout his life. He will be greatly missed.
Friends and family are invited to call from 3-5PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia. No formal funeral services will take place. Sorry to hear of Mick’s passing. He was in my brothers class. We knew Mick from grammar school through high school. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
We always we happy to see you and Mick at the Avon Flea Market. Mick was also a smiling face at the Veteran’s Day dinners and will be missed.
Mick was a good friend and a good man. I pray I shall meet him again someday.
