Livonia: Erin Dalberth (Ripton) passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021 at the age of 57 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family after her long courageous battle with cancer. Erin is predeceased by her father; Gerald Ripton. Survived by her loving husband; John Dalberth, her children; John Jr (Nikki) Dalberth and Shannon Dalberth (Michael Burgen), her grandchildren; Lilyana and Henry Dalberth, her mother; Diane Ripton, & her brother; Patrick Ripton. Erin is also survived by many more loving family and friends.
Friends and Family are welcome to call on February 1st, 2021 from 4pm-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree St. in Livonia, NY. Erin’s Funeral Mass will be held February 2nd, 2021 at 10:30am at St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Rd in Livonia NY. Interment will be held privately following mass. I worked with Erin at SIGMA Marketing for nearly 20 years, and very closely in our last 5 together. Erin’s help was so critical to me and our team. She was my right hand in doing billing and pricing.
Erin could be relied on to “tell it like it is” and get to the “crux of the issue” when solving problems. She had a practical, no-nonsense approach to dealing with almost everything, and if something didn’t make sense, she let you know! As a result, work was done more efficiently, and it was done right.
Erin was also a good friend and supported me and my family in our crises; we often talked about our daughters, both swimmers and strong-willed, and sons who were so smart and searching for their right path.
Erin may have been “rough around the edges” at times, but her heart was always in the right place. She was fiercely loyal to her friends and co-workers, and is loved and appreciated for it.
We will miss you, Erin.

I had seen Erin a few times out and about and at that time she was excited as she had learned she was in remission. I am sorry to hear she lost her battle with cancer. She was a brave lady.
Erin and I worked together on the GVAC/Mercury Aquatics board for many years. She will be missed by many.
