  1. The sun came out today and you were everywhere! In the rustling leaves, in whispers of the wind, and on the wings of the crow overhead. In quiet times when I am alone, thoughts of you keep me company… Swear I smell a pipe, swirling sweet cherry tobacco somewhere? Hug Mom and Billy for me. Missing you ever so much.

  2. Bill, you were always kind to me. Upon reflection 30 years past, your patience was remarkable. You showed me how to make a fire light in windy conditions, and you taught me a lot about being patient. You will be missed. Thank you for the lessons, and for putting up with me. You were always one of the good guys, and you will be missed.

  3. So sorry to read of Bill’s passing. We shared a lot of good times with Bill & Linda many years ago. Our daughter, Karen Willard, babysat for Little Bill, Sarah & James on Cleary Road. We enjoyed seeing Bill in his new home in Groveland. Time gets away from us and our friends are gone before we know it. Rest in Peace Bill. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We are very sue you will miss him.

  4. Sarah, John and Maggie May –We are so sorry to have hear of your dad’s passing. The very first time I met your dad was when our Hannibal decided to visit his back door. Bill was sweet enough to give us a call and tell us he had an unexpected visitor at his house. We are forever thankful to have had such a caring sweet neighbor. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

  5. A man of Country Gentry who gave me more than he would ever realize….he always told me that he was born in the wrong century and had he lived in another time it would have been my loss… a great loss – To a life well lived- good night old friend.

  6. Sarah and John and Maggie May — I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. Your family is in my prayers. God give you His peace during this difficult time. Love, “Barbie’s Sunday Book Lady” — Terry

  7. I am so sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. It was a pleasure to work for him at Morgan’s Estate. We had many chats mostly political, we had a lot in common on that topic ! Thoughts and prayers to his family. Rest In Peace Bill.

  8. So sorry to hear about Bill’s passing! Linda & Bill were such good friends and neighbors in Livonia! Our kids grew up together and we spent many happy times together! We loved listening to old Hank Williams Sr. songs! He will be missed!
