  1. Life is forever changed going by George’s green house knowing he and his cats are no longer gracing the place and this town.
Thankfully, his pretty Christmas tree remains in the window where the sun glitters off the decorations reminding me of George.
In local businesses, we talk about our shock and sadness without George agreeing he was a wonderful,kind,gentle,fun-loving,cheerful ,
classy man who was a joy to know and is sadly missed.
Rest in peace,Dear George, our life long friend,

  2. George was a wonderful neighbor to me for the five years I lived and worked next door. He loved his roses, his kitties and my daycare kids!He will be missed

  3. Have been a friend for over 50 years had many mutual friends gave him a ride from Shur Fine just before Christmas Rest in peace

  4. I will miss George walking along with his watering can heading for the cemetery across from our house. He was such a sweet man. May he Rest In Peace.

  5. George was one of a kind. He always had a smile or a good joke. Many times when my mom was alive she would pick him up many times for a ride to the cemetery. He had such a green thumb and always watered the graves that really needed it whether he knew that person or not. God just gained another angel! God speed my friend!

  6. To Rosemary, Jane, Peggy, and David: Please accept my deepest condolences over George’s passing. Almost daily, George and I crossed paths whether it was at Shurfine, the Post Office or the bank. George always had a kind word to impart or a funny story to share. And yes, he enjoyed teasing me. To Rosemary: I often told George how wonderful you were to my late Mom who passed away on March 31, 2017. Mom cherished your kindness and friendship, especially in the early years of my parents’ residency here in Honeoye. Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you and the family during this difficult time.
