South Lima: Passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at age 70, at Strong Memorial Hospital with Anne, his beloved wife of 30 years at his side. Gary was born in Media, PA to the late Howard and Katharine Hatton. He is survived by his wife; Anne E. Hatton, his devoted brother; Ken (Sandy) Hatton of PA, his niece; Arlene (Jesse) Garman, his nephew; Randy (Lori) Hatton, his grand-niece; Abigail Garman and his grand-nephew; Luke Hatton.
Gary was a graduate of Penncrest High School. He worked as an instructor for Kodak for 18 years. Gary went on to start his own business, Gary Rich Associates, where he was a consultant for customer services, till his retirement. Gary has a gift of lighting up a room with his cheerfulness and making people laugh and feel good. Gary loved his Annie, family and friends, all things Irish, his Philadelphia Eagles, a fun day, and teaching.
At Gary’s request no formal funeral services will be held. Gary is one of the happiest, most positive people I’ve known. He’s like a shining bright light when he walks into a room. That big smile and that jolly voice. He always looked at the positive and if there someone had a problem, he’d help to find the best solution. “Don’t sweat the small stuff.” LOL. He is definitely a “happy camper.” Just know that you have a new Angel on your shoulder. He’s up in Heaven with Mike and Dad watching the Eagles, having some wonderful deserts, yet keeping his eye on you. I miss him already. Love you!Love,
