Livonia/Geneseo: Marie D. Cavigliano peacefully passed away on August 26, 2018 at the age of 81. Marie was born in Turbotville, PA to the late George and Dorthy Weaver. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Max Cavigliano, her children Jackie Cavigliano Bourg, Judy Cavigliano Backus and Don Cavigliano, her siblings Robert Weaver and Helen Ayres. Survived by her devoted children; James Lewis (Anna) of FL, Julie Mae Lepome (Kenny) of York, Jerry “Buzz” Cavigliano (Terri) of Livonia, Jojo Zelie (Rick) of FL, John Cavigliano (Dick) of AZ, Ron Cavigliano (Laurie) of FL, Dave Prince of Rochester, her cherished grandchildren; Phil, Michelle, Jake, Ricky, Justin, Tara, Jenna, Jenelle, Lindsay, Hannah and her treasured great grandchildren, Ransom, Stella, Nolan, Ethan, Avery, Belle and Harper. Sisters; Mary Lou Lowe (Bud) of PA, and Betty Marx (Robert) of FL. Marie and her husband Max owned and operated Maxim’s Steak Room in Livonia for 32 years.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August 29th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY. Marie’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 30, 10:30am at St. Matthew’s Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marie’s memory to St. Matthew’s Church, PO Box 77, Livonia, NY 14487.   3. My condolences to the family. Marie was such a great friend.
    I taught her how to drive when she had the store on East Lake Road. We had so many laughs and great times when I was growing up. She was such a wonderful person.My prayers go out to you.
