1. My condolences to Cheryl, Ken Jr., and Jamie, I’m sorry for your loss, your in my thoughts and prayers. Though I never had the time to get to know my father, I was able to spend one cherished evening with him back in December. My short visit made up for the time we had lost, because it was my closure to our best kept secret :), so he gave me a little smile, we talked, and hugged. I will always hold that memory close to my heart. I will miss you!

2. I worked with Ken at LCSD in the early 90’s and I remember his kind heartedness. One day during a fast moving snow storm he insisted that I Ieave my car at the jail, so he could drive me home safely, and like he always did… he went the extra mile to pick my son up from daycare with me to ensure we both got home safely! A great man he was!! God’s blessings to all his family!

3. Judy, so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing.
   I remember just starting out on my own as a young woman in my first apartment directly across the street from You and Ken.I am so thankful for that. You both were so kind to me and Ken always looked out for me. I am so thankful! He had a nice sense of humor too!
   May God comfort you and your family and much love to you, Judy!

4. Ken was my conscience, my reminder. When he lived in the upstairs apartment with you Judy he was constantly scolding me for leaving my car running while I ran inside to do a last minute errand or scaring me at 10:00 p.m. when I was finishing up a late night load of clothes – both were lessons in safety and greatly appreciated. I remember him coming back from a late night accident only to find me blocking Big Tree Street after my car had been hit by a stop sign jumber…cool, calm, collected, helpful, kind, and totally in control. What I truly remember the most is his warm hugs, big grin, and “older brother” attitude whenever we met again…even at the LCCN&R he had a cheek kiss and hardy handshake to let me know he was glad to see me. With these memories being shared know that all of you are in our prayers with fondness, a bit of sadness, some tears, and a sense of loss. May you all take comfort in knowing that this once vibrant man we all knew is, once again, vibrant.

6. Judy, Norb and I had a good time visiting Kenny last month. He had the biggist smile on his face when I brought Norb in. I’m so sorry for your loss and thoughts and prayers go out for you. Kenny taught me a lot at the sheriff office and I will always remember him.

10. Judy, I’m so sorry for Ken’s passing but know that he meant alot to alot of people in his life and career. I had fun with Ken on bowling league and trips and he taught me alot about law enforcement and helping victims. Our prayers go to you and his great family. May God bless all and protect all.

12. So sorry to hear of Kenny’s passing, Judy you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. He had a great impact on my law enforcement career and taught me a great deal. I was blessed to have worked with him. He will be missed by many and we are all indebted for the service and sacrifices he made. I will certainly think of him and the memories he has left with me, as a cigar is lit in his honor today.

13. Judy my sincere condolences to you and family. Shocked to read of Kens passing. I’ll always cherish all the fun times working with Ken at LCSO back in the 70’s. He was a dedicated deputy and investigator.

14. I’m so sorry to hear of Kenny’s passing. I’ll never forget the day he sat me down before I went off to college and told me all he thought I needed to know before setting off to the “big bad world.” He and my mom were friends for many years, with Norb Buckley, Dave Haskins, & others. Kenny handed me his number and said “You call me if you need anything Kid!” I did once or twice… ya know the “this car keeps following me Kenny, what do I do?” With a calm I’ll alwaye cherish, he got the details and told me not to worry, he’d take care of it! Now… to this day it may have been nothing more than a way to calm a panicked kid…but let me tell ya…it worked! I knew I had a angel here on earth that watched over me as a kid… now we all have an even greater Angel in Heaven! RIP Kenny! You’ve earned that spot in Heaven 1000 times over my friend! ?

16. Judy – What memories I have and will always cherish, he was one of a kind. He always put a smile on my face when the two of you came into the office and he would toss the bag of miniature candies on my desk with a wide grin, where’s my hug! He never let me forget when he delivered me and my girlfriend home after he found us where we shouldn’t have been in my youth! A tough exterior but a genuine gentle soul! Heaven has gained a handsome angel! My candy crock will always remain full of memories and sweet reminders! God Bless you!

    I am so very saddened to hear of Kens passing. He was a wonderful investigator, person and friend. I am grateful I was able to see him this past year at Murray Hill. I wish you peace during this time of sorrow. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

23. Investigator Jaroszek was tough on me when I first started working at probation but showed probatiion and me respect when not all law enforcement partners did. He never let me off the hook and expected the best. He made me raise the bar. He was always there to have my back. I remember one particular case he called me because he knew at that time we went out in the field alone with no safety gear. He told me he never wanted me to go to that particular house alone. He offered to meet me down the road and wait outside while I made the home visit and cleared the residence. I have never forgotten that.

25. So sorry to hear of your loss, Judy. Ken was a great guy. I will never forget how welcoming you both were when I came to your home in Lakeville the first time I was running for Town Clerk. I always appreciated your support. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

I and our agency loved Ken ( COLUMBO) we all learned a lot from Ken he was a Great Deputy and Investigator and gave Justice to a lot of victims he never gave upTrying his best he earned his seat in heaven a dozen times over May you find peace Judy and family knowing how much he did for his community .Jack
