Honeoye: 9/10/37-4/20/18, Katharine passed peacefully surrounded by her family. She is survived by Ralph, her loving husband of 35 years. Children; Lauren (Karl) Tracy, Juliet (Aaron) Hildreth, Erin (Gary) Cratsley, Peter (Tracy) Poten and stepdaughter Kim (Wes) Clifton. Grandchildren; Justin (Nora) Hildreth, Kyle (Michelle) Hildreth, Michael (Alisha) Swingle, Ben Cratsley, and Ian Poten. Great Grandchildren; Noah, Austin, Trystin, Jack, Ryan, Regan Hildreth and Camden Swingle & many other family and friends.

She retired from Victor Central School as a speech pathologist. She was an avid Bridge player. A Boca Raton FL snow bird. She had been a member of Town, County & State Republican committees and member of the Honeoye Chamber of Commerce.

Friends may call on Friday, April 27th, from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. Funeral Mass Saturday, April 28th, 11:30am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 8961 Main Street, Honeoye, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Richmond Fire Dept. & Ambulance, PO Box 469, Honeoye, NY 14471. Katharine, my special friend with so many fun memories, like the time Ralph and Mike came home to find us standing on the kitchen table as we had a visiting racoon that came in through the dog door. RIP dear Kath.

Through my friendship with Juliet, my heart has been on this journey with you as your mother tried to push through her earthly challenges. But I know her family was there always to care for her and provide loving support as well as for Ralph. She is with the Father now and will forever be your guardian angels as she looks down from the Heavens on her loved ones.

  7. My sincere condolences on Katherine’s passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her and my mother laughing and having fun together, partying and getting dressed up to go out. Katherine was always larger than life and full of energy and turned any gathering into a great time. She, Lauren, Julie, and Peter were a big part of my teenage years and I look back on those times fondly. The world is a sadder place without her.
