  1. Dear Sue and family, Our hearts are very heavy for the loss of your father and grandfather. My mother-in-law Lucille Wilfeard was a good friend of Lonnie’s whom she had known since he was 11. He would call her almost daily to say hi and check on her when he could. My mother-in-law would always cherish his calls. While I didn’t have the privilege of knowing Lonnie personally, I spoke with him on several occasions when he would call her. He was such a nice man to talk to. He was always so concerned about her. I know that Lonnie is rejoicing in heaven with the Lord, and does not have to suffer anymore. Your dad was such a wonderful man to have served our country for so many years. It’s such an honor to have known him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God bless you. Lucille and Debbie Wilfeard

  2. Sue and family, My heart goes out to you during this difficult time. I have fond memories of receiving Christmas cards from your Dad/Grandfather. He put others first to serve our country so you should be very proud. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Bev
