Honeoye:  At age 66 Cindy passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was born on December 4, 1957 in Tonawanda, NY to the late Claude and Lucille Maine and is predeceased by an older sister Claudia who passed as a child. Survived by her beloved husband of 11 years, Gerald “Gerry” White; her daughter, Emily (Kelly) Zimdahl-McManus; her sister, Debbie (Rick) Maine Zappia; along with her grandchildren, Marin and Rudiger.

Cindy was a proud alumna of Mount St. Mary Academy, Class of ‘75, where she made lifelong friends. She was a long-time employee of 44 years at HSBC Bank, formerly Marine Midland, where she started as a teller at the ripe age of 18 and worked her way up to Vice President of Payment and Cash Management with her last role as a Product Manager in cards.

Retirement brought her much-deserved rest and relaxation in ‘lake life’ on Honeoye Lake, where she met and bonded with beloved neighbors and friends. She enjoyed boating and the water, coordinated tailgates and was always having fun, making those around her laugh and smile with her sense of humor and theatrics – she was the life of the party!

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She loved to have a good time: she sang, even if she didn’t know the lyrics, and she danced like no one was watching. She was hardworking and ambitious, always going after what she wanted. She was proud of her Italian heritage and was a great cook! She was spontaneous and adventurous, adding an assortment of DIY projects to her latest list of accomplishments. She had a weak spot for spas and Talbots. She loved animals, was generous and compassionate.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for Saturday, April 13th, at St. Margaret Roman Catholic Church in Buffalo, NY. Details will be forthcoming and shared in the future via social media. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association,  https://mda.donordrive.com/ – in honor of her Spadone cousins.
