Canadice: At age 88, Eileene passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 18, 2022. She was born in Sodus, New York to the late Ralph Austin and Leona Bauman. Eileene is predeceased by her husband Martin Gascon and her siblings; Deda Moore, William Austin, Burdett Austin, and Clayton Austin. Survived by her children; Melody Pratt, Laurie (Joe) Cox, Marleen (Rick) Clayson, Mark (Sheryl) Gascon, Tina Gascon, Christopher Gascon, her grandchildren; Daryl, Gideon, Justin, Suzanne, Amanda, Hannah and Mike, and her 7 great grandchildren, along with her several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family are invited to call from 4-6PM on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 8624 Main Street in Honeoye, where Eileene’s memorial service will take place immediately after calling hours at 6PM. Interment will take place at 11AM on Friday, July 29, 2022 at Canadice Corners Hill Cemetery, 5945 Canadice Hill Rd in Canadice. What a beautiful picture! I had the pleasure of assisting Eileene with some insurance needs when I worked in Honeoye. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and would talk so lovingly about her family. I am very sorry for the loss of such a sweet lady.
