Canadice:   Andrew passed away from Covid related complications Sunday, May 16, 2021, at age 62. Predeceased by his father Daniel A. Dragone.  He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Crystal (Fite) Dragone: his loving children Trip Grant, Corey Grant, and Shanna (Khoa) Diep; his loving grandchildren, Joshua Diep and Zachary Grant; mother Marie (Aha) Dragone; brothers, Stephen Dragone, Daniel C. (Laura) Dragone; sisters, Cynthia (Richard) Fox, Lauren (George) Bulliss; many nieces and nephews.

Andrew James was an avid stamp collector, was known for his willingness to help anyone, and he could fix anything and everything.

Family and friends may call Thursday, May 20 th from 4-7pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 21 Big Tree Street, Rte 15 & 20A, Livonia, NY, where his funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, May 21 st Guidelines regarding masks and social distancing will be followed.  Private interment Woodland Cemetery, Canandaigua.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Andrew’s memory to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.  To send a condolence or share a memory, please visit:  www.doughertyfuneralhomes.com

Andy was always very helpful and cooperative with several jokes mixed in for some laughs..we had a great time working at Weyerhauser many years ago… One fond memory is when we replaced the knife on the corrogator. That’s 4 hours of swapping stories while performing a very delicate job. Thank you Andy.. rest in peace old friend ?

  5. Every time I picture Andy in my mind he has a big smile across his face. Let’s face it…dude had some big teeth! It was a smile that was welcoming and generous, as if to say: “let’s be friends”. He was a man who chose the simple life of hard work and caring about others. He was a good man. I will miss him.

    To those how loved him most, my deepest sympathies. I share in your sadness. I so much wish I could be there with you to hug you and share with you tears and laughter while celebrating his life. Collect and cherish your good memories of him and carry them with you in your life. In that way his spirit will continue to live on here on earth as well as in heaven.
