  1. I was so sorry to hear of Rob’s passing. As a former family farmer up the road from Rob’s, I always had a special respect and fondness for him as he was devoted to the family farm. It takes a special person to continue in the love of farming and the simple life. Our farm also was passed down to 7 generations here in Livonia and I was lucky enough to be a part of it while it lasted. I always enjoyed looking at Rob’s farm as we passed by and was thankful that someone was still there, taking care of the land. Condolences to the family and please know that your loved ones are thought of often and with love.

  2. Larry and I were so sorry to hear about Robert. I remember him as being quiet and devoted to the farm. I hope these words are of comfort to you as they have been to us when my parents passed away:

Today we say goodbye to a loved one
Someone who filled our lives with joy and meaning, laughter and tears
Someone who touched our souls and moved our hearts
We thank him for the time he shared with us on earth and now sadly send his spirit to the heavens
When you look at the stars, remember him – he will be the brightest star in the evening sky
