  8. I met Mark last year sitting across from him Thanksgiving Day right before his sister Jen’s wedding ceremony. From the moment I met him he made me feel like I was part of “The Family” and that I had just met a new brother. What struck me immediately and became so very apparent over our months of FB posts, the he was deeply in love with Dea and had been from the moment he met her, that family was more important than anything else in life and that his sons were his pride and joy. I feel so blessed to have had the gift of meeting Mark and wish that I had been able to know “ my new brother from another mother” for years to come. No one knows why life suddenly takes these heartbreaking turns but I do know that Dea, Josh and Jack, and the rest of his extended family have and Angel that will always have their backs. Fly High. Sail Well. Keep Camping, Mark!

This was such a terrible shock and I am so very sorry. The times spent in NY almost every summer were very special to me. Our camping trips to the Glenn will always be special to me. Mark will be sadly missed. Hope to see the rest of you soon.

  10. Deanna, what a sudden shock to lose your husband of 28 years! Marriages of that length have become uncommon. The two of you have an accomplishment with that as well as with your two sons and the life you shared. While we may not have been in touch since high school, I remember you fondly for your constant smile, your kindness, and your easy going nature. I leave this message on behalf of the many, many folks who would do so if they knew, to remind you of the very wide circle of friends you have. Sending my best wishes to you as you find your way….

If there is anything at all we can do during this difficult time please don’t hesitate to let us know. We remember Mark and the boys at Tom and Darliene’s when the boys were just young and played with Justin and Jason. Such a good, kind man.

  12. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Mark was one of the kindest people I ever had the pleasure of meeting. We shared a passion for music and would joke around playing name that tune by singing or humming a line from a song. He played his guitar at work a few times, always perfecting his talent. Heaven truly gained another angel. Rest easy Marky Mark. You won’t be forgotten.
